Glitch Cat - Overall, Resident Evil 6 is a game that has it’s highs and lows. The game does features enjoyable, solid third-person shooter mechanics and excellent multiplayer modes, but it’s unfortunately held back by a horrible story, linear design, dreadful QTE’s and questionable driving sequences. While it’s not a bad game by all means, it does qualify as a poor Resident Evil experience as it kills what made the franchise great in the first place and instead focuses on making the game as action-packed as possible. It’s a game that Paul W.S. Anderson would be proud of.
