Peter Molyneux on Curiosity’s delay: “We were really worried Apple were going to just say no”

EDGE - Peter Molyneux has explained the delay to Curiosity, his studio’s debut mobile game, telling us that at one point he and his new studio, 22 Cans, were genuinely worried that Apple was going to refuse to approve it for release.

This sounds like pretentious trite - this might be an interesting experiment with an actual physical cube but fuck me if I'm going to chip away at a black cube for what will inevitably be something stupid. Unless this thing results in your phone 3D printing you copies of a good fable sequel then I just can't feasibly imagine what virtual item would be so enticing.

What's worse Peter Molyneux has been shoveling out disappointment since I first played black and white 2 for longer than an hour at a time and not only does this whole game seem like little more than disappointment in a box, but it's being served up a guy who should be held under false advertising just for being so damn disappointing all the time.
