The Japanese really are Loyal to only certain brands till the end aren't they?? They love their trusted brands and their Gimmicky toys and Arcade Machines...

23k is weak! Especially so soon after something like DMC. I gotta admit that's real disappointing.

Sony is a trusted brand inside and outside japan.
It would take a lot to beat Sony in this market, like how the Wii is doing.
360 as good a console as it is, other than Devil may cry 4 are there any other options of games that Japs like....at lest compared to whats coming out on PS3???
I think its just a matter of MS not knowing the japanese market and not producing and games for their tastes...thats the only reason why its not selling as well.
Mind you, hardware faults don't make you look good in the eyes of a tech sevy nation like Japan.

the wii is trashing those consoles everywhere..cause nintendo understand entertainment means variety of games for everyone....clown fanboys will never understand that. no matter i'll be here to throw it in their faces all the time..so they can cry and complain for 5 years.

I think it would bother them more if they considered the Wii an alternative gaming machine. Unfortunately it's not on the same level as the 360 or Ps3.
I mean, even a stick can be seen as entertainment, right?

Big drops for both PS3 and 360 this week. Only thing going up seems to be the PSP.

Wow go PSP even selling more hardware then DS but then I saw the Gundam game that came out for it and all made sense.

I was surprised at seeing the PSP ahead of the DS too. But I guess everyone in JP already has a stack of DSs.

Pretty big drop for the PS3, but once we actually start seeing some games (FPS here, RPG there) that come close to being a killer-app, things won't get this low ever again. Once the likes of White Knight Story, Final Fantasy XIII and the new Team Ico project come out (not too mention MGSIV and GT5), I'd expect to see the PS3 right up there with the Wii every week. The only question is, when are we going to start seeing those games?

a pretty big blow for the PS3 this week- i wonder what happened

HardcoreGamer3536d ago

AT THAT WEEK A LOT OF SALES OF THE PS3, BUT NOW THATS ITS THE NEXT WEEK ITS DROPPED, THE SPIKE THAT DMC4 CAUSED HAS DIED DOWN,
