Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has suggested that Rockstar has "a lot of interesting stuff" planned for Grand Theft Auto 5's DLC, but that it is "way too early" to begin discussing it.
Hopefully some zombie dlc.
People might knock zombies as being overused but done right, zombies in a game as huge as GTA is could be fantastic. And we know Rockstar are capable of producing strong undead themed content thanks to Red Dead Redemption. Give me a huge multiplayer experience that lets me run around Los Santos with friends whilst being chased by the undead and Rockstar can have my money right now.
wow, not even near release yet and they are already talking about DLC crap... I don't see why they can't just add them in now?! I might just wait for GOTY edition.
Yours and mine.
Hopefully its more like an expansion like TBOGT And LATD
Enough of the telling, more of the showing please! :)
I see they're talking about GTA V more often now, that isn't a bad thing.
As long as the DLC has substance and is not over priced I am all for it.
Really too early, almost don't know nothing about the main game...
They haven't. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick - "way too early to discuss those plans, and of course those discussions will come from Rockstar in the normal course".
Unfortunately I hate DLC crap! Why don't put that into the game?
It could be a bad thing, but R* has some of the best DLC this generation and have amazing stories that happen in the same cities as the main game so I'm not worried about the value as much as I would be with other developers. Plus it's always optional if you really want it or not
I understand your point. But I'll always think that any developer could have been done this DLC into the game. But it's a discussion with too many arguments, on both sides.
If it's anything like "undead nightmare","the lost and the damned" or "ballad of gay tony" i'm down
Game doesn't even have a solid release day and they're talking about DLC :(
I can't f***ing wait!
So does this mean Microsoft gets timed exclusive rights again
I highly doubt it.
Why all the disagrees? Gta V is most likely coming on 2 discs or more on the 360 so there is no point in any timed exclusives for the 360.
Cool, just wonder what they will be
Episodes from Liberty City was easily some of the best dlc produced this gen, so I am optimistic about this.
You don't like GTA?
I like GTA but i thought 4 wasnt up to par with the games that came before it in terms of story and missions and fun factor. I found myself getting bored and just finding my fun by screwing around and doing crazy stuff. I did like TLATD because of the characters and original plot setting but i wouldnt call it some of the best dlc this gen. 4 was really good for driving around and having police chases and shootouts but outside of that the game itself wasnt very engaging. Loved red dead and max payne 3. Just couldnt get into GTA 4s story at all. The main character sucked also. Niko and Roman were horrid characters for a GTA game and should have, at most, been side characters for a couple of missions only.
DLC went from downloads that were cool and inventive to small tiny gimmicks to get more money out of the consumers without creating new games. ex. you can buy a game for 60 dollars, but there will be a dozen little things (maps, weapons, items, skins, missions, etc) that they sell individually and could screw you out of more than 500 dollars
Bring Zombie, Bigfoot, and all the others myths as DLC.
I hope there aren't any timed-exclusive or exclusive deals for either console. This game needs to be equal and perfect on all platforms.
If it's anything like the GTA IV episodes, then I'm in. I just hope Rockstar don't disrespect us by making timed exclusive DLC deals.
