Silent Hill: Downpour – Review | TheGamersChallenge

TGC writes: With the release this year on November 8th in Japan, Silent Hill Downpour is the 8th game in the franchise. I mean apart from the ones that don’t count like the arcade game. Downpour makes some steps in the right direction but still misses the point of what made the originals work. The best example of this would be in how Downpour places more emphasis on exploring the town. This was quite a heavy feature in the first two games where you could be wondering the streets for quite a long time before finding one of the main levels. (PS3, Silent Hill: Downpour, Xbox 360) 3/5

As much as I love Silent Hill, I still need to pick this up. I can safely say that will be soon because right now it's going for very cheap.

It's actually a very good game for the money.
