MasonicGamer.com: It’s Halloween – that special time of year when kids go door-to-door begging for candy and older folks attend parties dressed up like zombies and slutty nurses. Unfortunately, some of us are too old for trick or treating, don’t have any kids to live vicariously through, and lack any kind of social life. For folks like us, there’s only one option: Pumpkin carving!
I used to think that carving a pumpkin simply involved chopping a couple of triangles for eyes then making a jaggedy mouth. However, it was only in recent years that I realised the art of the pumpkin could involve so much more, and the result of a night of hard effort would be rewarded by the praise of others. I’ve never been one to go in for traditional horror, and have instead chosen to focus my efforts on the slightly more geeky. This year, I decided that a video game pumpkin would be the best thing to carve.
