if theres anything ive learned in the current gen of consoles is to never EVER believe R* when it comes to a release date. every game theyve released has been delayed multiple times. max payne 3 , la noire, gta4, agent, episodes of gta4, red dead redemption,midnight club. i dont tihnk theres a single game thats been released when they say itll be released.

Every single GTA game came out in October though. I remember this very well cause my birthday is on October 31st and GTA games were always at the top of my birthday list. Only GTA game I recall not releasing October was GTA 4 which released in Spring, sometime around April if I remember correctly so it seems Spring is the new season for GTA games.

GTAIV was released 28th April. I remember this coz I made up a stupid jingle, singing the date all every damn day till release. It went something like this: "April 28th, April 28th, Aaappprrrilll 28th" :P

Indeed it does begin. This is the only GTA Release Date article that should have been up on N4G for months. I have no idea how so many false release date articles have been at the top of my N4G page when there had been no official announcement.

Does anyone think theres a chance they will include more cities and announce them closer to release like they did with GTA SA. It can't be as big as they say and only includes LS and the left hand side country side, I know the map will obviously be differnt from GTA SA but GTA4s Liberty City still resembled the city from GTA3 with newly added places.

Rockstar and Take Two aren't fools. They are going to release it on the PC eventually but not now. It would be foolish for them to release it on PC the same day as consoles because they would miss out on a good portion of sales due to piracy. They want to maximize profit by releasing it on consoles first in order to minimize piracy of their game. Once they feel confident in the amount copies they have sold then the PC will get their love.

Doubt it. I agree that GTA IV was the weakest in the series but judging by the Trailer that has been out for a while, 5 might be miles ahead of 4. It might be on the same level of San Andreas.

Sucks that it's currently not announced for the Wii U or PC. I guess I will probably get it for the 360 then when it comes out. Although "Spring" is a long time away, and who knows if they have plans to release a Wii U version like 6 months down the road. Maybe they want to wait to see how many millions of Wii U consoles are sold before xmas to help make up their minds..
