Need For Speed: Most Wanted Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: "Criterion’s latest is possibly the best Need For Speed game so far, simply because it is one of the most accessible and entertaining arcade racers ever made. Most Wanted seamlessly bridges the gap between single and multiplayer gameplay, adding a hyper-stylised lick of paint to the series as well as throwing decades-old driving game conventions out of the windows.

Merging the unbridled fun of the Burnout series, with the intense cinematic nature of the original Most Wanted, this has surely got to be a Game of the Year contender."

Now don't get me wrong...I love my Need for Speed and love Criterion's Burnout. I'm also getting the Vita version today but this is no Game of the year contender. I just don't see it.

When I look back on all the new releases I've played this year, this game definitely ranks up as one of my favourites. For me personally, that makes it one of the games of the year.

Of course, these things are subjective. But even if you don't agree with my assessment, I guarantee you will enjoy this game. I hear the Vita version is a great version as well.

I don't like Arcade racing games(NFS, Dirt and Forza), but got to admit Criterion did a fantastic job with Most wanted!

Engine sound of each car is spot on, gameplay is intense road tiles are very well made!
Graphics are one of the best! way better than F Horizon.

They took all that was great about paradise city and fixed all the bad stuff like being able to restart an event without driving all the way back to the starting line. Easily one of my favorite games of the past few years.
