Holy Vita Vegita!!! I hope Digital Extreme is not developing multiplayer for this game. The multiplayer suck in BioShock 2. If they manage to make it a better multiplayer I will give it a try. I don't like Digital Extreme track record of games, because they are just a mediocre developer. Bioshock Infinite is great with or without mulitplayer, so I hope they don't screw it up.

The multiplayer was not the best I ever played but I did enjoy it. I got the platinum for Bioshock 2 so I had to play it for hours and I learned to enjoy it.

It was fun owning people as a big daddy.

If they use Bioshock 2 as a base and improve upon it I will have no problem.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun with the multiplayer in Bioshock 2 and the idea behind it, with all the plasmids, weapons, hacking and being able to be a big daddy was awesome.

My only issues with it were that it could get pretty laggy sometimes, but when it worked properly it was really enjoyable.

I felt the same. The game was actually really fun when it worked and was stable.

If there was no lag I would have played some more after getting the Plat, but the skip skip jerk jerk got too annoying.

BioShock 2's multiplayer was not needed. I really Infinite doesn't have any. I just don't want it. A waste of time.

Same here, people buy Bioshock for the awesome story in single player.

It wasn't needed, but it is expected. It's a shame, but it's the truth. As long as the SP is strong and a complete product worthy of the price tag then there is no need to not include Multiplayer either.

I believe games should reach as wide an audience as possible. As long as games don't force Coop into your SP experience then people should be pretty much okay with other MP features.

I'd like to see something innovative with Columbia's factions, the skyhooks and maybe even supernatural powers. Could be awesome. Sounds like they've struggled to crack it though, and shooters simply don't get made without MP these days....

The job listing has nothing to do with irrational games. The only connection between the listing and irrational games is digital extremes worked on bioshock 2. Why do people assume it has to do with bioshock infinite when they are two completely separate devs.

As I said below, it's probably for The Darkness 3.

Or maybe DE are working on The Darkness 3, it's the only other AAA 2K 1st person shooter title that's probably in development.

I hate how people jump to conclusions before anything official is announced. For me I hated the MP in Bioshock 2, not to blame DE for that but in the end it felt tacked on. Bioshock Inf doesn't need MP in the game, it'll be better with out it.

MP's been rumoured for Infinite, DE has worked on the franchise, and the ad calls the project AAA FPS as well as "prestigious" - The Darkness 3 that is not.

I loved bioshock 2 multiplayer I made it to the highest level cap and paid for the new maps it was not needed as the single payer was great but it was a nice addition hope they do the same again
