As we bellow full steam ahead towards the impending arrival of the next-generation, it’s worth looking back at how this one started. The Xbox 360 signified the starting point of our venture into HD, downloadable horse armour and the pre-order incentive; its launch line-up memorable for the successes of Call of Duty 2, the abject disappointment of Perfect Dark Zero and everything else in between. Visualising beads of sweat was the ‘in’ thing for sports games, there were sequels aplenty and Monolith showed us just how grimy a dilapidated school could look.

SEGA's Condemned: Criminal Origins arrived as an innovative yet flawed Xbox 360 launch title, but is worth revisiting on modern consoles.
Would actually love to see a remake/reboot of Condemned. So very underappreciated... I was a bit of an Xbox hateboy back during the time this came out. But I did own a 360 for a short time back then. Thankfully this is one of the games I got to check out. Thanks to it being super cheap at a GameStop. At least it got a sequel, but it deserved to be a whole franchise honestly.
I am still playing Condemned 1 & 2. Both games deserve a remake or remaster. I am still baffled why 2 is not on the back compat list.

We can only hope that we will at least get a port to the Condemned 2: Bloodshot game on PC and current-gen consoles, or why not a sequel someday soon? One can only dream."
Condemned was amazing! Had a really cool multi-player as well, such a shame it we never got another one after 2. Brings back some great memories on the 360. Condemned was definitely one of the first games I picked up for the 360. Loved the atmosphere and the amount of melee items you could utilize. Would really love if Microsoft could somehow reboot this franchise!
It's a shame we never got a third game. The original was better than the second, in my opinion, but that's far from saying the second was bad.
As one of the best methodical, slow-burn horror games of last generation, Condemned: Criminal Origins really deserves a remake.
This is one of the scariest games I played on my 360. I kept it, cause if was a instant classic.
I remember when the first trailers for Xbox 360/PS3 games were coming out, this was the first game that screamed Next-gen to me. It still looks good now
Fantastic game. I love its grimy, sordid plausibility, and all those run-down environments that really do feel like real, familiar places.
Possibly my favourite horror title of all time - and that's saying something.
Excellent game. Loved ripping pipes off walls, the limited ammo. Raw brutality without making that it's focus, unlike Manhunt.
This game at night with no lights on and there was a bit where a manequin came to life and I shit myself ha, this game had a lot of atmosphere a lot of games can't get close
The first was a classic and an amazing launch game. Wish we could get a reboot or better sequel. Bloodshot was quite a letdown for me, it didn't even feel like Condemned.
"disappointment of Perfect Dark Zero"
Come again? I played PDZ everyday for like 6 months. Also Condemned just went up on the Steam store, $7.50
