Gamer Living's Jack Moulder and Matt Prestwich got to sit down for a few rounds of Halo 4 Multiplayer in Toronto at a press only tournament event.
(Halo 4, Xbox 360)
"with a particular note made for the excellent texture resolution on plants and walls, something which a lot of first-person shooters are unfortunately lacking. What added to the realism of this game was that everything was carefully detailed down to the most mundane objects; due to a remarkable job on lighting and reflection effects, everywhere you looked in-game objects and environments were incredibly realistic and stood out sharply."
Halo 4 is truly the best looking exclusive game this gen on either console so far considering the size, scope and content in it.
"it seems that 343 Industries has done an adept job of taking the Halo mantle from Bungie."
I am confident that 343i has taken Bungie's masterpiece and made it even better on all fronts of the game.
The parts of the game that I love the most is how they revamped all the sounds. The guns and vehicles have a nice bass to them now. The game looks amazing. Can't wait to play it
4 is actually starting out with more maps than Reach (10 multiplayer, 3 forge). That's 13 total maps. Reach only had 8 which were recycled play spaces from the Campaign. 4's are purpose built with a wide selection on top of 9 additional downloadable maps. So I think that's a nice start.
I agree with marcmjm and was just about to mention that but he beat me to the punch lol. If you include pure maps without forge included there will be 19 after the downloaded maps and I'm sure there will be more in the years to come after those releases.

I'm clearing out my schedule next Tuesday. There is no time for anything else but the return of Master Chief.
That was why everyone loved Halo 2. There were like 25 maps.
