I never finished this game because of that stupid toy helicopter mission. That mission and the original GOW hell level was the worst game design in PS2 history.
i hate that mission! back when i first got my iphone i bought the crappy ios version... i seriously cannt beat the one on the iphone..... if i were to start up the game on my phone, tthat mission would be the first thing to load up...
I'll be buying up GTA San Andreas for sure and maybe Vice City. I've been tempted to buy GTA 3 (PS2 Classic) but I'm glad I've held out. Vice City and San Andreas were my two favorites of all GTA games.
I picked up GTA: Episodes from Liberty City on PS3 to get me going for GTA 5. These PS2 Classics should help me further alleviate my GTA hunger.
Because almost no one ever finishes the stories in GTA games and the gameplay is nearly the same, with San Andreas being the best of the series, I see no reason why anyone would want to play all of them.
And opinions like this are the reason you only have one bubble...what utter drivel. The story of GTA 3 is very basic, but Vice City and San Andreas have great stories filled with funny and likeable characters...that's precisely what kept people playing the series. That you were terrible at the games and couldn't get through the story does NOT mean that everyone else didn't.
I actually enjoy rockstar's storytelling. In fact, the story is one of the things, I hope they talk about for gta 5 in the next issue of gameinformer. I thought it was very clever, the way they handled the story with seeing the story from other characters perspective.
your right Rockstar will do what they want, cause they are they are the ones in the driver seat. Usually they produce good products so no need to worry.

Do people want an HD version of the GTA III trilogy?...why yes I do believe so, will it eventually happen?...most likely. If you want GTA in HD do what others have said and get all three games for the PC and there are MODS that will make them look even better than GTA IV. Also your a PUNK!
@GraveLord
If you don't finish GTA and all you do is get the cops on you and run around wreaking havok, then you obviously didn't play the game very long doing just that. A little of that in between missions is fine, but I've seen people just mess around for hours not accomplishing anything. Also same gameplay?...name a game that doesn't have same gameplay. If anything GTA allows you many different types of gameplay; GTA is a third-person shooter, beat-em up, racer, and adventure game. Also your a PUNK!
You people on N4G need to quit being such PUNKS, and gripe only when its needed, which in most cases it not so shut it!
If they were HD remakes then I would consider buying them but since I already have them on ps2 and have a Backwards compatible ps3 and a ps2 that still works there is no need... shame
I've bought GTA: III, Vice City, San Andreas, and the GTA: Double Pack when they came out on Xbox. Pawned off all of them when I pawned off my Xbox. Right now I only own the digital copies of San Andreas, and GTA IV + both DLC's for my Xbox 360. I need GTA III and Vice City! I too wish Rockstar would make HD editions of these games seeing as my PC is from 2004. (Still going strong)
