Clickonline writes: "Ultimately though, Assassin’s Creed was not a bad game. It was dull in places, and certainly repetitive, but there was plenty of evidence on offer that something special was happening in the halls of Ubisoft Montreal."
I found it too repetitive however; it was very good aside from that flaw.
Transportation ruined it entirely. It's completely unforgivable that it should take 10-15 minutes to TRAVEL to a mission. But then, it wasn't good enough that I would have forgiven 5 minute travel times, either. But getting to the fun parts of the game took forever and the fun parts were only okay anyhow. The first game sucked and had ZEEEERO tact in its design.
I prefer the setting of the first game, im not into Italian food
you're in Syrian food?
It was more nostalgic felt more authentic the setting was just badass in the original. Also so what if he's into Syrian food? It's tasty trust me Italian is over rated.
i'm not huge fan of kebab, hummus or shawarma, bit too spicy kind of food for me. ain't tialian food fan either, eastern-and centereuropean food all the way. and chinese. they have good sweets, though. so "tasty" is a matter of, well, taste. i don't have to trust you on that, then:)
Italian is over-rated? Have your tastebuds no strength? Have you succumbed to life's pressures? DO THE GODS THEMSELVES STEER YOU TOWARDS SELF-DEVASTATION?! SELF-DEPRIVATION?! Oh ye of lost soul! May the universe forgive thee!
Syrian cuisine is some of the best. You definitely should give it a try.
Then why were you so suprised about him being into Syrian food? Taste is taste after all. Also spicy!? What the heck are you on about? I think you haven't eaten Arabic food because its not spicy unless you want it to be unless you mean spices than yes but not hot spicy. I think your mistaking it for Indian , if not then you would hate Indian food :P
it was just a question, i was not surprised.ppl read too much into internet conversations,eh?:) and i don't like indian food either. and sure, i've tasted different arabic food, incl.syrian and it was always spicy for me:) as in "too many herbs", not "hot-spicy":)
The game was in Palestine not in Syria.
masyaf and damascus are in syria
Trust me there is a far larger library outside the kebab, hummus or shawarma. I'm glad you enjoyed our sweets though.
IMO ACII>AC1>Others...and I hope AC3 gets it back. Although it was indeed repetitive, it was the first one and a retro review is very though to follow because of the gameplay improvements such as climbing speed in ACII. But I would still give it a 4/5...
I looked at the title quickly then saw the score I thought what!!!! Thinking it was AC3 then I realised it was the first game got worried then lol
Been playing new one today, it's something special!!
AC1 was something new and unique I feel. It brought some new gameplay mechanics and the story they started out with was great but they lost it in Revelations. But AC3 is going to change all that definitely.
