Chris Lohr: Bioshock: Infinite isn’t really a sequel. It’s more of a spinoff. Taking place about fifty years before the first Bioshock and set in a new locale, Infinite is a completely and totally new experience. Columbia, the setting for the game, is America’s first ever floating city. Presumably, there aren’t many of these around today because of the civil war that began on board the city, and the time the city opened fire on Chinese citizens during the Boxer Rebellion.
