Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a prisoner of war to generic gameplay - GameZone

GameZone writes, "Medal of Honor: Warfighter doesn't do anything wrong per say; it just doesn't really do anything different... or exciting... or memorable. It's multiplayer is comparable to other titles on the market, while it's single player campaign is sorely lacking the emotional drive to keep the player engaged. The end result is a generic first-person shooter." (Medal of Honor: Warfighter, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 6.5/10

You should've "lessoned" in English class, my friend.

And I have played it. It's no different than any CoD or Battlefield I've ever played. I'm sending it back to GameFly as soon as I work up the nerve to finish the damn thing.

An 8.5? Going by my experience on the beta of the actual gameplay, 6.5 is about as accurate a rating as this game deserve. The term generic sums this game up perfectly. While it has a few faults, it just doesn't do anything especially well.

I'm not trying to be funny, but, haven't the last few Call of Duties been exactly like this?

Last few COD'S have been same old routine, but why do we need any crappy imitations?

So is it on par with last game or worse? I think the last game was an ok reantal. About 7 in my book...

Hmm
It's better. I really don't understand all the hate on this game. It has a few bugs, especially on the mp side but nothing that's game breaking to me.

It's better, which is why Im confused with the scores. The last one has what a 70%ish (can't remember) on metacritic? And this one, which is better, has a 49%??? It makes no sense.

I seriously don't understand how hard is it to just add things after you've copied a game. I can think of so many little things they could've done to make it stand out from COD and battlefield.

Going from my experiences on beta, this game feels like nothing more than EA attempting to capitalize on the current state of the fps market while Battlefield 4 is being developed.

The MoH name just isn't working though really, the first game felt mediocre by today's standards and so did the beta of this. It's like Battlefield and CoD had a forbidden affair and gave dirty man birth to this.

If EA really wanted to release a yearly fps game, they should probably take the developers of this and have them work on the bad company franchise and play off the battlefield IP. It would probably get them some hate for pulling an Activision milking an IP yearly but lets be honest, activision's decision to release a yearly cod has probably helped them solidify their position as biggest game of the year sales wise.

While I don't agree with your opinion of the game, "dirty man birth" gave me a good laugh.
