Finding Myself in The Walking Dead

Pixels or Death's Jonathon Wilson always thought he had what it takes to survive a genuine zombie apocalypse. Telltale Games' The Walking Dead changed all that.

Here Jonathon takes us through the The Walking Dead: Episode 1, where he discovers that the crushing lack of humanity would be enough to render him useless against a real zombie outbreak.

"Mainstream zombie media has conditioned us to believe that, when the dead claw their way out of their graves and take to the streets in shambling packs, our fate will be determined by our ability to kill them again. I could live with that. Destroy their brains. Stay away from malls. Climb ladders. We could make it through, I’m sure of it. We’re wrong. The zombies don’t matter. The roaming undead are nothing but a rotting construct, fencing off the remnants of humanity from everything we know and understand..." (iPad, iPhone, PC, PS3, Telltale Games, The Walking Dead: Episode 1 "A New Day", The Walking Dead: Season 2 - Episode 1 "All That Remains", Xbox 360)
