"Medal of Honor Warfighter" producer on authenticity and avoiding the glorification of war

Complex had the chance to chat with the game's Lead Multiplayer Producer Kristoffer Bergqvist about exactly what went into Warfighter, including the developers' close relationship with Navy SEALs and Tier 1 Operatives. They also got to ask about toeing the line between fun and respect. (Danger Close, EA, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

So you are saying that two tier 1 operators had a mission where they accidentally blew up an entire complex, were being shot at by a helicopter that was within 10 feet of them, had several missions where the entire area around them was exploding and falling a part, and all the other Hollywood style events?

See with the first game it was somewhat authentic. They took military like things and expanded on that. This one though was pure Hollywood in a lot of areas....

Really...? the first game was pretty authentic compared to other games but hearing about a helicopter shooting at them is already fucked up.
