Rebuilding The Future: How BioWare Can Bounce Back

Once beloved by gamers on a level comparable to Nintendo’s late 80s/early 90s golden years (thanks to a string of critical and fan favs culminating in the groundbreaking Mass Effect Series), BioWare has fallen on harder times in more recent years. Recent games, most notably Dragon Age 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic, have performed below expectations (with SWTOR facing the humiliating prospect of going FTP before it even had a year to grow.) And the infamous backlash over the ending of Mass Effect 3 is only the most famous PR clusterbomb the company has experienced since 2010. (BioWare, Industry, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

By taking Dragon Age into the future, of course!

Dragon Age 3000

Yeah, now it's all in space and stuff; plus, there's magic and people still fight with swords but they're made of light! Why hasn't anybody thought of this before...

They should do a pallet cleanse...by unleashing a new, successful I.P. then go back to DA or ME if they want. Although both series have had their setbacks thanks to the latter games and some key members departing from the company.

I have faith in Bioware regardless...but I'm not really as excited for DA3 as I would be for ME4.

They need to buy their freedom from EA before it to late, but what IP will it take to gain their freedom from EA is the bigger question.

Its too late for that, the founders are gone, Bioware as we once knew them are NO MORE, period.
