Hitman's Torben Ellert: "Use or abuse the gameplay" - The Average Gamer

During development Game Designer Torben Ellert, and the rest of the design team at IO Interactive started thinking about the places between the hits. With the game’s strong emphasis on building a believable world and atmosphere, there are plenty of levels going spare. Ellert told The Average Gamer how the Contracts mode came about. Another awesome article with a few scattered details/clarifications within. The more I read, the less I care about other Q4 2012 games.

One thing I am really appreciating that may be going unnoticed - the details that are being released only focus on the core elements of the game itself. They are still withholding nearly all story elements, level details, inventory, weaponry, upgrades, etc.

We're less than a month away, and this is one of the few games that has managed to build some serious steam without relying on handing out spoilers. GTA V has done even better in terms of keeping a lid on the details while building passive pressure.

Can't wait! I feel a cold coming on for 11/21.
