"Call of Duty"'s First Ever Female Character, Erin Cahill Talks About Her Role
Complex: "There's never really been a female character in a Call of Duty game before. We've no idea why that is, and neither does Erin Cahill, the actress who'll be playing the first-ever female CoD character in Black Ops 2."
(Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Women weren't allowed in the military in WWII. That covers the first 3. Until earlier this year, women were not legally allowed to be in combat units in the US. In the UK they still can't be deployed in combat units. They still see combat, but they're not supposed to. Women also just went on spec ops missions for the first time in 2011. My point is that wars have always been primarily fought by men and that's just beginning to change.

"You'll want her around in a sticky situation. I'll just put it that way."
Yes, yes I will.
Especially if you caused the sticky situation.
