PlayStation All-Stars may yet feature more than 20 characters

PSU.com writers, "Sent in by an anonymous tipster, this picture from the PlayStation Retail Loyalty website adds fuel to the rampant rumors that more than the twenty revealed characters, confirmed by Omar Kendall to be the final roster, will star in Sony's new brawler. With the correct answer filled into the first sentence's blank, it states 'PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale features over 20 first and third party PlayStation characters.'"

based on how their current 3rd party characters look, i'd expect an FF character to be from a recent game rather than from a ps1 game unfortunately. though, i would not mind if Noctis and Stella are in the game. i would absolutely hate it if Lightning makes it in.

I do love Lightning more than Cloud (Punching Snow = Best Day Ever). But Cloud pretty much deserves to be in All-Stars.

Well then they'd be able to say alot more than 20 wouldn't they? They could say it features over 50 characters. The fact that they use "over 20" means it's gotta be at least 21, and no more than 25 because after 25 they would have the ability to say "more than 25" instead of 20.

The game has 20 characters in it people, you need to get over it. DLC characters? Yes. More characters on the disc? No.

Two of the games developers already confirmed there are 20.

I played the beta on vita, the game is bad. I think the UI they went for was bland XMB inspired I guess, and the gameplay and balance is horrible.

who wants to play a brawler where half the attacks are characters with guns shooting from across teh map . and its even worse because the arenas are nothing more than a square room and maybe a platform that goes up or down a bit making it really easy to spam gun attacks while others fight eachother.

I think this game would be better if they got rid of shooting characters. Fighting 3 guys with guns in a brawler is not fun, and I dont see why anyone would play like that but I guess they think its fun to spam the gun attacks from across the map while others try to actually have fun and fight eachother.
I see this game getting blasted for lame characters with guns and tons of ranged weapon attacks while other characters have none, bland square maps with simple layouts and UI inspired by the plain blue XMB that looks like it took 5 min to make.

IMO everything about this game feels cheap and half assed.

ANd you experts can tell me Im bad at the game All you want, I won my 3rd game ever that miraculously had no gun shooters in it so im not that bad. Its just 85% of the matches had the guys in the corners shooting in a BRAWLER and their overpowered super attack is easy as hell to kill people with from across the map while mine is useless unless parappa is right next to the guys who keep shooting me from both corners of teh map(and yes corners are the most variation you will get from these maps further helping gun shooters).

I wont play a brawler like im playing mega man in a really scared manner, and I wont take time to get good at a game that is not fun just to go online and play every match against two gun shooters when Im hoping to play a brawler.

Valid point, but I hate playing against kratos I find it more annoying than the radec characters, I usually get close and pound them, upclose he sucks.

But kratos is very difficult to get close, he has a very long reach, I guess you have to find a character you like and develop a strategy.

Last time I played 2 players dropped from the game so I had 1 to 1 fight, had a blast on it it is very fun.

It's through the PlayStation Retail site. It gives vendors options to complete quizzes for points towards buying discounted PlayStation products and games. It's not GameStop or Game or anything like that. It's officially run by PlayStation itself.

Octopus tattoo on her arm, twin snakes on her ankles/feet. It might have meaning, but she was wearing the same outfit/had the same tattoos in the Michael ad as well. Can't wait for the full reveal tomorrow.

Agreed. If they announce DLC characters, then I won't buy until the game of the year edition comes out. I am fully prepared to wait as always. By being a year out of sync with games I get everything cheap and in their complete form.
