Hands-On: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) - TGV

The Gaming Vault writes:

"Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch would seem like a match made in Heaven on first glance. The combination of relatively tried and tested JRPG mechanics, an eighty plus hour adventure and retina-caressingly sumptuous Studio Ghibli visuals should have fans of the genre (and pretty things in general) giddy with nerdgasmic joy.

Right?

Damn right. As my twenty minute or so playthrough at the Eurogamer Expo largely affirmed; Ni No Kuni is exactly how you thought it would be; a gorgeously ornate exercise in classic JRPG mechanics being married to timeless Studio Ghibli aesthetics that is every bit as joyful to play as it is to watch." (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3)
