Four Free-To-Play Games Worth Paying Attention To

Gamer Euphoria writes:

''The free-to-play market is becoming increasingly strong, year after year. This year’s E3 was host to some hugely impressive free-to-play games that look set to match retail games in terms of size and quality. Free-to-play is only going to get bigger and better and the following games look set to usher in the new era of multiplayer online gaming.'' (DUST 514, End of Nations, Hawken, PC, Planetside 2, PS3)

Perhaps the point of a beta eludes you.

I'm already playing Planetside 2 (NC 4 Life) and it is WONDERFUL! How wonderful you ask? BF3 gets no more playing time because of PS2!

Hawken will get heavy playing time as well and I played the beta last night on a friends PC and it is Awesome. fast paced and very fun alternative to that other slow and go Mech Online game

End of Nations - seen it in action and was excited and so far all the reports i have seen say the game is going in the right direction and will be a hit, 13 million strong like League of Legends? Maybe but we will have to wait and see. Definitely better than that crap Free2play Command and Conquer game ....sorry I just don't have any time for E.O.N. as my gaming rotation is overloaded (dam you PC Gaming)

Dust 514: i technically don't own a PS3 so i don't know about Dust 514......but on the Eve Online side someone just lost $6,400 dollar worth of stuff when their ship got blown up by pirates in Low Sec space.....You should have hired an escort you silly dilly!

The list should include FIREFALL which is easily a top 5 top 10 F2P shooter out there. Great graphics gameplay and control plus it has a MMO attached to it as well.

We picked four, if we picked five than Firefall would of been on it. We had played all the listed titles, we had not played Firefall. Hence why it did not make the list. I hope you can understand why it's not listed. Not because we didn't know about it, just we didn't get the chane to play it.
