The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution was released for the PlayStation Vita this week, and Falcom and Kadokawa put out a new trailer for the enhanced Vita port.
2019 is a big year for The Legend of Heroes. Both of the Trails of Cold Steel installments that appeared on the PS3, Vita and PC are coming to the PS4 with more voice acting than every before. This is to prepare for the console's shift to the PS4 outside of Japan with Trails of Cold Steel III, which is on the way. It is a great time to get into this Nihon Falcom series. Just bought The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel literally an hour ago, I was on the fence of buying it right now because I know I'm not going to be able to play it right away, between work and my backlog it will be months, but then decided to do it and pay full price now so I could support the series and the localization of the next ones in the series / possibly a new one
Been playing the Decisive edition since release and I've been loving every minute of it. First-time player here. Story is great, love the characters and I've been taking my time exploring the world. About 80-hours in and I'm only in Chapter 4, average level 42. Trying to max out/discover everything during my first play-through with multiple save files. Is it possible?
In the west, JRPG fans are still eagerly awaiting Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter; the conclusion to the Liberl duology. But there are 'smaller' and better games awaiting players in this franchise's future. Games that Continue Play's Shehzaan Abdulla contends have a shot at being the best JRPG on the Vita; better even than Persona 4 Golden.
Nihon Falcom has a long history of creating some of the most relevant JRPGs in the industry, but what not many know is that they are the first company to have formed a professional band dedicated to performing video game music. That band’s name is Falcom Sound Team JDK.

I used to love getting these guys CD's back in the TG-CD days. Darm Tower theme is probably my most favorite video game tracks of all time. One of the first CD games I ever played was Ys 1&2, and that song just blew me away coming from the Midi that was standard at the time.:)
I love how falcom releases these Ys remakes with both original and remixed tracks.
Hopefully it comes to the US.
Falcom's Nayuta no Kiseki has amazing graphics engine. I don't understand why Falcom still uses this low-poly engine with sprite characters for LoH series.
