With massive games like Black Ops: Declassified, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, sales of Vita should be heading skywards in the coming weeks and over Christmas.
But once you've got stuck on, or tired of, your shiny new game, there are hundreds of other titles you can download for the Vita across various categories including minis, PlayStation Mobile games, augmented reality titles, plus PS one and PSP classics. So, if you're new to the world of PS Vita (or are planning on getting one) here's my personal list from across the board.
BO2
AC3
so do i really want to spend 100$ on BO:Declassified and AC3:Liberation
and will I even want to play those 2 after im tired of AC3 and BO2. Im leaning towards "no".
How much does that come in to play here because I feel like I'm missing out on good RPG's.
If you havent played P3 and P4 then you must try it first before disregarding it, at first it suunds strange the whole concept but once you play it you love it or hate it, you cant really judge it before playing it.
So it means if i buy something for Vita i can move it back and forth without losing the DL limit of 5 times ??
Thank you for the reply.
@Skate-AK : I dont have a choice witht the cross buy it's only digital DL on Vita. I wonder how big Battle Royale will be as well as the PS+ Instant Vita collection of free games.
Does anyone have an idea about the size of Uncharted Golden Abyss ? Just to have an idea about the size of big Vita games.
and man...4GB is minimizing my selection of games I can put in! of course I do have like 5 cartridges and bringing them around is no big deal but there are games way cheaper on PSN than retail and those PSP and PS1 games are going no where without a memory card and that leaves me with very limited option! I'm definitely goingto get the 32GB later this month as if the rumors are to be believe, PS+ is coming very soon to Vita too and that means...abundance of downloads available for FREE!
of course you can just copy the contents back and forth to the PS3 but it's even nicer to have them ready to run at all time!
the touch control makes for a great addition and I can't put it down! so far, the best game available on Vita and this is from an Uncharted-kind of gamer that I am!
must haves for me on Vita:
1. LBP
2. Uncharted GA
3. Gravity Rush
4. Rayman Origins
5. Unit 13 (personally LOVE it!)
I've had an iPhone & iPad for sometime and dabbled in some portable gaming, but nothing really enough to get me hooked. Infinity Blade almost got me, but I barely lasted a few hours with its sequel and have not played an iOS game since.
I happened to stumble across Pokemon on TV one day earlier this year and it got me feeling all nostalgic, so I rushed out on an impulse and bought a 3DS and a copy of Soul Silver. It wasn't long before I realised the talent I was missing out on handhelds and my girlfriend who is a reader actually liked it when I was playing on the handheld and surprised with a VITA for our anniversary.
I've since experienced a wide array of games both new and the classics i've missed and I have to say there was something fresh about some of the games and definitely a lot more to them than anything iOS or Android can offer. It's been a great medium for RPG's and my most anticipated game of this year is currently Persona 4: Golden.
It's not changed my passion for console/PC games by any means, but theres also something about playing on a handheld that i've started enjoying. Perhaps it's a good way to escape when I work long hours, or an easier way to wind down before going to sleep. Either way, I was wrong and I think both platforms have a lot to offer.
Haters gonna hate and my overly long post won't help it. But, fuck it.
- If you like the masterpiece Uncharted then get the golden abyss
- If you like a game, which could be considered one of the best platformers ever created, then get LBP Vita
I'd rather have a Vita because NFS & Ragnorok both look really good, and Sly Cooper reminds me of the old classic games from SNES/ Genesis era.
