NISA comments on potential Disgaea characters in ‘PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’
NIS America’s Ryan Phillips comments on the potential of Disgaea characters appearing in the upcoming Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita game, “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.”

And i've said it many times before and i'll say it again, it is a complete and total disgrace that Allstars is not even LAUNCHING with a Disgaea character. No publisher is as Playstation loyal as NIS. Try and name one. You can't.
I played the first one in college and put 250+hrs into it. It is sad that now at 30years old, I want to support Nippon Ichi, but I just do not have the time to spend on another disgaea :(

though really how could you only pick one character (seeing as there are no more than 1 character from every other series) I mean Fuka or Desco are so awesome and fenfen n that just Disgaea 4! What about Mao or Almaz . . . dammit I want Geoffrey he's Badass butler XD
@PhoenixDevil - I know, it would be so hard to choose just one character when there are so many great ones in the Disgaea universe... Honestly, I'll be happy as long as we can get just one though. Maybe have a stage as well with all the main and side characters from the series in the background battling it out. XD
i wanted prinny since day one. how the hell new dante(who still doesnt even have 1 game released yet. no old dante doesnt count, they're 2 completely different characters from different universes according to capcom after the backlash they received) and big daddy get in over a character from a franchise that has more or less been a sony exclusive is beyond me.
Superbot would put Old Dante over New Dante but Capcom wanted New Dante. Levine wanted Big Daddy in the game, so did Superbot. Leading to Superbot working really closely with Irrational on the development, of the script and characters in PSASBR.
Prinnies are synonymous with Disgaea & NIS in general...DOOD.
They are literally the mascots for the game & the company so it should be natural to have Prinnies as the representative in PSAS if it does happen....DOOD.
This game is not what I thought it was this game is soo fun, it's soo rewarding to get a level 3, I've went several games without getting one, so when I get one I almost jump out my seat
After playing the beta kn both my PS3 and my Vita. I find it best played on the Vita. The screen is smaller, so I can find my character easier. The bigger screen makes it easier to lose your character and doesn't make the game as fun as it really is when played on a smaller screen. This is just my opinion and others may differ. I played on a 32 inch, 47 inch and a 17 inch. I loved playing on the 17 inch and My Vita, but on the bigger screen TV's, your character can get lose easier if someone is using the same person.
As for some Disgaea characters I'm down after play the game on the Vita.
To me, part one has the best,most cohesive story and AMAZING character synergy, but I feel part 2 had the best jokes and overall humor in all the games.
You're aboslutly right, just saw a story on it. Very cool, can't wait. Hopefully they can incorporate some other characters from the other games into the main story.
Playing the beta and I'm loving it. But seriously, Sony messed up in thenlaunch character roster. What they have is great, but its missing waaaaay to many essential characters,such asmones from NIS .

And out of all NIS history they made almost all their games for Sony except only a few on DS and Wii.
Disgaea and NIS are actually more loyal to the Sony brand than some of the other characters you see on PSAS.

i somehow feel like it wont be booth Laharl and Etna, with either being the others minion companion in the game.
But Nippon Ichi need a rep, they ahve been pretty loyal to the PS brand over the years.

To me part 1 was the best just because Lahara, Etna and Flonne were such great characters.
So much possibilities for his supers :)
