This week’s show, Gamergirl comes back from a fun family emergency to talk about her “lethal hide and seek” time with Dishonored and her take on Resident Evil 6 as Front Towards Gamer’s veteran zombie hunter. Third chair this weekend is filled by Smikey1123, host of FTG’s Geek Link podcast, who chit chats at length with Gamergirl about an AdventureTime game and tries to explain how Pokemon Black and White 2 works to Shanghai Six. Shanghai burns himself out making Dishonored gameplay videos and tries desperately to recount the story of how Progressive Auto Insurance far and away is the most evil insurance company in the whole wide world (full story of Progressive’s evil linked here, you’ll never see “Flo” the same way again!)
It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.
There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.
Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.
Dishonored's engaging lore, creative levels, and timeless gameplay are well worth revisiting for fans of the immersive sim and stealth genre.
Daily Video Game writes: "Xbox Store has just kicked off Arkane Studios publisher sale, offering up to 80% off on some of the best games from Arkane Studios, including Deathloop, Dishonored, and Prey for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One right now!"
