PlayStation 3, PS Vita, & PSP November 2012 New Release Video Games

After the giant page of games we did with our October 2012 New Releases, we decided to break up this very busy month of November into three different parts: Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox 360 & PC.

This part features all the games currently scheduled for the Sony platforms, including dates for exclusives like LittleBigPlanet Karting, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Wonderbook: Book of Spells, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, and more.

- Trendy Gamers (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, Hitman: Absolution, LEGO Lord of the Rings, Little Big Planet Karting, Persona 4 Golden, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, PS Vita, PS3, PSP, Wonderbook: Book of Spells)

It's pretty awesome :) considering pre-ordering actually.

Quite a few good games out in November, considering getting Black ops 2 day one and might get Lego Lord of the rings as a christmas prezzie

I played it on the Vita and I usually NEVER buy fighting games but this one is really fun.
GamePodunk  +   702d ago
Not at all; I'm looking forward to playing the full game when it comes out.
HammadTheBeast  +   702d ago
Once you play 2v2 in the beta, everything changes.

I'm really enjoying the PSASBR beta right now, can't wait for the final version.
braydox21  +   702d ago
for an acronym that pretty long. but playing the beta however having a few connection issues but since its beta Im not really that bothered by that, still fun though disappointed going from playing a large player list at the eb games expo 2012, having, raiden, big daddy, racthet etc. im excited for a Xbox/ Microsoft mash-up beat-em up and when all three mash-ups are out create a multiplatform basher in other words Sony-vs-microsoft-vs-Nintendo so all stars, super smash bro's and Microsoft version, have all these games in one then have them fight it out with each, hopefully being able to vs Xbox players and Nintendo players And sony players in other words the ultimate FAN BOY WAR!!!!that would be epic

Eazy-Eman  +   701d ago
My most anticipated game of the year! Persona 3 on psp was such a beautiful game with an equally beautiful soundtrack...once I beat it (100 hours later) I wanted to play persona 4 but I had sold my ps2 years ago. Imagine how pumped I was when atlus announced p4 on the vita! I bought the vita just for Persona 4 and November 20th has to get here fast!!
Saturne3  +   702d ago

GribbleGrunger  +   702d ago
That's one cramped November. I wonder which games will suffer as a result?
Mykky  +   702d ago
What I can say now as a Super Smash Bros veteran is that PS All Stars Battle Royale is not a complete rip-off off SSB. It plays completely different.
Although I felt it wasn't as strategic as SSB, and it felt very much like just jumping around and be lucky to get in a hit because reading your opponent felt impossible. I know that sounded a bit stupid as I have not played the beta too much and it is just that, a beta. It was fun though and I will buy it, but compared to SSB it didn't feel as good as I had hoped for, and now I'm talking about the gameplay which I'm sure won't change.

Anybody else felt a slight bit of disappointment?
HammadTheBeast  +   702d ago
Personally, I feel it's more strategic, just because of the way the combos and supers are implemented. Sure, you can jump around and try getting hits, but wouldn't you rather risk it and get more? But we are all entitled to our opinions.
SAE  +   702d ago
same thought when i played the demo :( ...

it's not challenging in gameplay , it's all about luck and the special attacks , i also didn't like how the fighting moves works for the players ...
Ayabrea123  +   701d ago
It's way more strategic in my opinion. Why, because you can't predict what the other person is going to do and how they are going to do it. For example, in the demo, Kratos is literally like the most used character. He has crazy mid and long range, and his short range is even stronger. If your using someone like sly or paprappa, of course your discouraged to take him on, so you have to think of ways to get close to him. You don't want him to get his super so you got to beat it out of him and you have to think of ways to get it done. Radec is the better person to use against Kratos because you could keep him ad far away as possible, Paprappa is good too. But I'm sure when characters like dante and raiden along with nariko and the med evil guy or even spike, Kratos won't be that hard to hold off
Mykky  +   701d ago
@Ayabrea123
What I mean with not being able to predict the opponent makes it more of a hack and slash and then be lucky to get in hits. You can dodge but the dodging is not as deep as it is in SSB.

In SSB when you can predict people it makes a much more deep learning curve. You can predict what your opponent are gone do and then u can dodge him and then counter. So if you are 4 pro's playing against each other it is very strategic. That is something you can't do in All Stars, at least not with the depth it had in SSB.
I also thought it was more strategic to shoot the other enemy out of the stage instead of hitting him enough to get a super attack. In SSB you used soft and fast punches to get the other guys percentage up and then you did strong and slow punches to shoot him of the stage. And if you were good u could get back on the stage again by using certain moves.
In All Stars u only hit people until you get a super and then you use a super attack, and then the same thing up again. It's a bit of the same but u can't block supers as in blocking and countering the hard and slow punches in SSB.
SAE  +   701d ago
the gameplay won't make me have skills in it , it will only improve a little because the game is all about luck , i don't call lucky hits or special attacks strategic , it doesnt use skills , just press everything in the controller as fast as you could when you are near enemy because you don't know what they will do so you don't know what is the right move to use against theirs , even block is useless in most of the time ...

im not sucks in it , i win a lot in the beta , it's enough reason to judge the gameplay...

@donbear
i played enough fighting games to know the game that need skills or even teach me new ones :)

rag doll is fun , i didn't say it need a lots of skills like in tekken , but it's a lot better then this game , modes are great , the fighting moves can be used in a skill way not like in here and it's funny as hell ...

this game is fun but i don't consider it as one of the best fighting games ....

I think psabr is a better game. I cant stop playing the beta, its a surpisingly deep and technical party/fighting game.
Mykky  +   701d ago
Can you point out how PS All Stars is more technical and deep than SSB? Interesting with a other opinion.
doogiebear  +   701d ago
@ milk: well for one, u can string together moves to make combos, u can tech out of a falling animation to recover early in mid air (very important). Also the characters are very well balanced. Plus a couple other things but i'm too sleepy now. I'll get back to u with more.
Ayabrea123  +   701d ago
The reason why your feeling that way is because your going in playing it as if it SSB. It's not. I don't play street fighter thinking it's tekken and you don't play DOA thinking it's Virtua Fighter. Just play it as if it was just another fighting game. I've noticed about over 100 different comments that say the same thing about how they are disappointed but then throw down 'because ssb'. it's not ssb and when you learn how to play it like when you first played ssb then you will learn to like it. You didn't play ssb knowing how and what to do things, it eventually grew on you. You do the same for psasbr, and you'll be straight.

Playstation All Stars Battle Royale!!!!!

Best fighting game i have played in a long time
SAE  +   702d ago
In my opinion , it plays normal , not something special or as fun as tekken or kung fu rag doll , but still worth buying for me if i have the money...
doogiebear  +   701d ago
You just invalidated your own opinion's worth, the moment that you said Rag Doll Kung Fu is good. U dont play many fighting games huh? I own 9 on my ps3 alone (From Kof, to Persona Arena, sf 2-4, etc). And trust me, PSABR is amongst the best the genre has seen (from what i played in beta)
