OK, these definitely have to do with Battle Royale.
First one features Cole from inFAMOUS and this one features Drake from Uncharted.
Would be cool if there were some live action fight sequences in the full commercial instead of everyone just standing around...not that the first Michael commercial was bad or anything.
Someone needs to decipher the message on the typewriter!!!
"DEAR COPERNICUS (That's Captain Qwark from R&C) WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR LETTER AND REGRET TO INFORM YOU CAPTAIN"
Also, the first teaser had DMC and Ape Escape references. This one references Uncharted, and R&C so far.
Has to be for All Stars. They can both advertise Michael 2 (PS3 commercial) and the commercial for All Stars at the same time. This game needs to have a strong advertising campaign as it is Sony's biggest title for this Christmas, and a damn good one at that
Hold on a second. How do you guys know what the typewriter has written on it? It's just a bunch of symbols. How do you know what they mean? Is it some type of real language?
"TimeEffect and Skidd of Neogaf, have confirmed that the text on the typewriter is actually the Lombax language from Ratchet and Clank, not Jak and Daxter. They also have a full translation of what was shown"
it reads “Dear Copernicus, (Copernicus L. Qwark?) We have received your letter and regret to inform you captai-"
"And it’s Captain Qwark’s rejection letter from the roster! How attentive of Superbot! Thanks to the guys at Neogaf for the translation!"
Yes the type writer! As soon as I saw that I searched to see if it had been decoded yet. Couldnt find anything but this is Defiantly PSASBR. Hope there is a live action fight club video.
If you look at the yellow text on the girl's nametag on the desk (actually, it's in the thumbnail) it says Saru Get You, which is the name of the Ape Escape TV show in Japan >.>
First one features cole from inFAMOUS, "Sara! Get You!" From Ape Escape and the gun from MGS Zeroes trailer. Second one features the "Dear Copernicus" thing which is Captain Quark from Ratchet and Clank. Symbol from Uncharted and the sign of the back of the car which is from Jak and Dexter.
This means Snake from Ground Zeroes, Ratchet and Clank, and Ape Escape is confirmed for All Stars Battle Royale.
It's a Scorpion. I don't see how it being in Ground Zeroes is all that significant for this trailer. They are a very common submachine gun. Beyond everything I could want for in All Stars is for Big Boss to be the end boss, and be playable after beating him, but I really feel like having a Scorpion in a trailer is really grasping at straws. And we aren't even 100% sure these teasers will even relate to All Stars. Michael didn't promote any one game.
we got font from Ratchet & Clank on the type writer
and then if you pause at 0:13 and then 0:18, 0:19 slowly, you can see jeans, a belt, his white shirt, his brown overshirt, gun holster, and his dark hair, this is clearly Nathan Drake (look at the Uncharted 2 box art).
^ I got the Morgan story from GAF, but I'm the one who translated the R&C one on there ;)
This viral advertising is so great, Michael has 11 Million views, and as a PlayStation fan, it's such great fan service, but even regular fans love Long. Live. Play. Let's hope Sony cranks this up for Christmas
It would be fun if Microsoft agreed to let one of their characters as the final boss for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, like Master Chief or Marcus Fenix.
Well we can only speculate at the moment. It is either a commercial they are making for PASBR or another Micheal type commercial like they made before. But seeing that each clue so far comes from a character in PASBR I am leaning towards the former. Either way i can't wait to see the whole thing. I guess some people are more on top of this then I am. I had no idea that the symbols in the video came from Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank.I haven't played a Jak game for a long while and have forgotten how the the Precursor's language looks.
@ Adva. Now that would be awesome. All the characters arrive all bounty hunter style and say 'We are looking for the boss' and whoever it is is a table and looks up and says 'Here I am. Come get me if you dare' and they all rush him as he jumps up to defend him or herself. That would definitely be epic.
Could it be that it's advertising that everyone will be able to play the beta? But that wouldn't make sense on why that Sony is paying for all this advertisements just for the beta...
Okay I think I get it now. Everyone is arriving for the Battle Royale. Each video signifies someone's arrival for the tournament. This video signifies Drake arriving and the sudden drain of electricity signified Cole's arrival. Each video will signify a character's arrival with lots of symbolism from other games.I am sure we will see one with the lady hearing ice cream truck music and evil laughter in the distance
@ ExgamerLegends. Too much of a coincidence. Each symbol from the videos represent characters from PASBR.It where simply the store changing it's look then the symbolism would not be so specific. We have Spike, Ratchet, Jak and Daxter, Drake, Nariko. It can't simply be just the redesign. Why go through so much just to advertise that they redesigned the PSN store. When none of these characters have anything to do with PSN.
Cool, now slap some gameplay in it and the PS3 splash image, tie it together in a 30 second bow, and get it on TV! MLB playoffs going on right now, slap on those games. Football. Etc. GO GO GO! ADVERTISE!
If Sony are making these advertisements for All-Stars, then Crash has to make a cameo. To me, it seems that all of these All-Stars are uniting together to meet the Bandicoot.
Hmmm, Paul Gale is claiming that this "isn't what we're expecting" but is still cool in some way. I'm taking it to mean that this ain't Playstation All-Stars related.
On a non-related note, who is that BABE in all these trailers??! Me oh my.
I guess he was talking about when everybody went all inFAMOUS 3 on the first clip. Though there were other hints that people just ignored like the gun from MGS Zeroes and "Saru! Get You!" from Ape Escape. It's either a new Micheal campaign or PS All Stars. I'm still thinking PS All Stars though.

The letter is a rejection notice to Qwark lol.
I think it is All-stars, I'm looking forward to more ads. Maybe each character will appear and check in with the receptionist lol.
All-stars Beta is a blast by the way
Ah, it's one of Naughty Dog's old dogs.

edit @ below: yea, Alpha definitely agree, I love these viral videos as advertising, very clever and awesome videos, very well put together.

It's very unlikely, but it would be a nice move.
its above her desk, mounted on the wood

I hope Sony decide to make another, (Naughty Dog) and have Crash with Uncharted Graphics.*Drooool
It looks badass! However, just wish I was able to play it on my PS3.

Viral advertising rocks, and makes you think.
I think it was Xi?
would be nice for surprise some red apples for crash arrival xd
