CoD immediately comes to mind. lol. Don't get me wrong, I've spent hundreds of hours (maybe a thousand) online on CoD but it's gotten a bit old and repetitive. Shooters have gotten old for me as of late. I've turned to other games like Portal 2 which offer new experiences. I still play black ops and might get blops 2 but i won't be on every night like I used to be.
Obviously you've played the games and bought them, so that would eliminate those games from the "crap" contention.
Just because you've grown tired of playing a certain style of game, doesn't make it crap either. If Call Of Duty were a terrible and crappy game, it wouldn't continue to grow as an intellectual property.
I do think MW3 was probably the worst of the bunch, but I have played some really crappy shooters and COD isn't one of them. It might get repetitive, but nobody forces you to buy the games or play the same games over and over again. I usually buy a COD game every couple of years so that its fresher.
Crap games can surprise people, like the original Iron Man game that launched with the first movie, that sold millions and was a pile of donkey dung. Developers cant fool people consistently though, Naughty Bear is crap, so people wont buy it.
Says the man who peddled SWTOR (2.5 million units and counting for that lame WoW rip-off). At this point after the explosion of hyperbole this gen, I think that fans of every publisher/ console-manufacturer can all agree that any time someone in the industry speaks, whatever their product, they are usually full of $hit.
If that isnt the face of Evil then I dont know what is, EA is a complete joke, & gamers pay for crap all the time, which is why the Industry continues to produce crap.
I find it beyond silly as in an April fools joke for this guy or anyone from EA to lament or speak on such subjects, when they are the "Forerunners" of mass producing crapola.
Just another "Silver Tongued Devil" greasing his palms with a snide grin on his face, while perfecting the Art of Orwellian Double Talk.
When this guy running for office,?, lol, so I can remember to get the picket sign made & ready.
When I see this guy's face in that picture, it immediately reminds me of Mr Burns from Simpsons. Dirty, immoral and would milk his own family for money if he had to.
Also if consumers don't buy crap, why is crap constantly being produced? Unfortunately for this CEO, MoH will be an exception and consumers won't purchase it. Smart people who make crap don't make a beta and let everyone see how crap it is leading up to it's launch.
The MoH: Warfighter beta was just not for me. I was really disappointed with it, nothing about it stood out from gameplay to graphics. Maybe I'll give the final game a shot later down the road. But I'm definitely not going to pay $60 for it.
I have seen the consumer launch pretty poor games to the top of the charts many times.
Yes they do, there are some idiots you know... much like yourself if you can make such a profound statement.

"Consumers Won’t Pay for Crap"
Stop making it then.
but consumers pay for games with online-support that ends after a year or so (Fifa)... look i can still play warcraft 2 online.
no more ea games in this house!
