Forbes - A First Look at 'Hitman: Absolution'

Forbes - Christian Elverdam, gameplay director of Hitman: Absolution, told me that in the upcoming IO Interactive game, there are over two thousand pages of non-player character dialog. Every NPC was chatty…and extremely informative. Listening in on their conversations not only gave us hints about gameplay—overhearing that an elevator needs repair cues you in to the fact that a repairman disguise might be in order—but also turned us into silent observers, removed from the world until we effect it with our deadly intentions.

The story is too old to be commented.

Seems odd that Forbes is talking about video games

I read the article to give Forbes a chance... they are very out of place it seems:

"It looks like a great game, but I have my concerns. First, there’s the length of gameplay. I think that Elverdam’s estimated fifteen to twenty hours is vastly underrated, particularly when you consider you have to get the timing on certain challenges correct, which means a lot of waiting around.

I also didn’t get a glimpse of the execrable Saints, so I’ll have to reserve judgment, although with a trailer like this [link to nuns trailer], it’s hard not to be judge-y."

Really? The only benefit to this, aside from the obvious financial impact that the gaming industry carries - would be to potentially convert a couple of their readers into gamers.

But, yeah, Forbes covering games feels a bit "forced-y"

I absolutely cannot wait for this, I'm going on one of the older titles on my PC now; I love the series so much!
