No offense but it looks like XBOX Live a little bit.

I agree...and thats a good thing. If I can get a store on PSN that matches the clutter free intuitiveness of XBL for FREE, then thats a hell of a deal!

I love how you can now instantly stream game/movie trailers on the store without long ass buffering.

You implying that accessing the store on XBL isn't free?
GodisaGeek  +   219d ago
It does look very "metro" now, but at least the XMB has remained the same, that thing works really well.

I have a strong feeling that what we are seeing here is part of the Gaikai strategy. I would say that the store is now browser based so that at some point in the future they can add game demos to it that are played directly through the store without the need to download them.

If Sony decide to offer PC games through the same channel then that would be an incredible move. Don't discount this as a possibility, It's ready and waiting for Gaikai, I'm certain of that... It's just a matter of when.

The 12GB PS3 suggests to me it could be a lot sooner than people would think.

The PS Store was long overdue for a re-design imo.. Hopefully a XMB dashboard re-design is in the works as well :)

Agreed, it looks really nice now, and more importantly - it works better.

Now the Vita one please, Sony!

I hope they redesign the XMB so it flows nicely into the new PSN Store..

Is it me or is that guys voice so damn annoying? Anyways I wonder when the update will make it here to the states.
GodisaGeek  +   219d ago
No need for that, is there? Why do you find Martin's voice annoying? :-S
s8anicslayer  +   219d ago
Because I do that's why! and I'm sure I'm not the only one..I take it that your Martin and I've struck a cord.
JebusF  +   219d ago
@s8anicslayer - "Because I do" is your reason?

I love that slightly scrolling background when you move across the tiles.
