Why the Wii U Is, Isn’t, And Is Kinda A Next-Gen Console
he Wii U’s being or not being a next-gen console is not just a controversial subject on Dual Pixels, but also all around the gaming world.

It's stupid how people have no idea what the word nex-gen means. It means (generation)It could be a box of cornflakes with a slightly different sweater and when they generate the new box it's a new generation. So when Nintendo stops generation the old Wii and opens a new production line of something new then thats the next generation. They are generating something different. It can even be worse than the last generation but it's still NEXT GEN!

In all, I don’t think that the Wii U is a next gen console but it just brings Nintendo up to par with current gen Consoles. Im sure the Vita has the potential to do some interesting and similar things but it won't, very few devs will actually support it because its an add on its not integrated.
