Prey 2: 'No Update' from Bethesda

NowGamer: Following Prey 2 developer Nathan Cheever saying Prey 2 was 'in limbo', NowGamer got in touch with Bethesda regarding the status of the project and was told there was 'no updated info on Prey 2'. (PC, Prey 2, PS3, Xbox 360)

Personally I'm kind of happy that this seemed to of vanished off the radar. This was never a Prey sequel in the first place.

Prey was about being hunted, confused and disorientated thanks to the multiple ways you could travel via portals, spirit walks, planetoid gravity and buttons which affected the direction of gravity.

This did not look like Prey at all.

Good or bad. I think Prey 2 could have been awesome. Its not canned per say. More or less they are considering shifting the game to a new game engine since next generation consoles are launching within a year or so.

I still believe this game could hit in 2013. If not anything coming is likely a total remake or its hitting the can. I expect between E3 2013-2014 we will hear something about Prey 2.
