Top Multiplayer Games Of This Generation

I'm glad they included Uncharted 2, me myself have put so many hours into that game and still level 58, it's so much fun, but it got a little boring when ND decided to lower the health in patch 1.05.

But it's still very fun, and so is Uncharted 3's MP despite some ridiculous kickbacks, But Lab games are fun and soon patch 1.15 is gonna bring back Classic Mode to Uncharted 3! yay :D

But yeah then theres, Killzone 2, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4: MW, Halo 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and so on, so many great MP shooter's out there!

Well how about that? I own 4/5 of those games, I seriously need to buy Battlefield 3 already, BC2 was a blast for me.

Don't expect the exact same experience, but knifing someone in BF3 is very addicting. Feels better than any knife kill ever. :P

Game is hit and miss to me with gameplay compared to BC2 and BF2, but I expect BF 4 to fix all my gripes. Its still not bad really. I would rate it little less than BC2, but not by much.

Pretty random list. Although i won't argue against the author's opinion and i think brotherhood's multiplayer is pretty awesome, but it basically looks like a forceful pusblishment of a limited opinion. It doesn't even look like he played alot of different multiplayer games.

It would've been better to write about "underappreciated great multiplayer games" and take out all the top popular ones. Then it wouldn't look like an excuse to praise AC:brotherhood.

I had so much fun playing MP on AC Brotherhood I hope we get way more characters on AC3

well i know you guys will think I'm nuts but for me MAG was one of the best multi player experiences ever.
first time in a game of domination with 256 players in this huge map with sh#t happening all around was awesome.
spent alot of time with mag and all the dlc that followed.

MAG is my personal favourite this generation, because it's different with it's large scale battles. Sunk over 1300 hours in it, and just started playing again a few weeks ago. I was quite surprised it's still being played, although the bigger modes take a long time to start, the small modes with 64 players start just as fast as 2 years ago.

Being part of a 32 player platoon, breaking through enemy lines with your squad and than start havoc behind enemy lines on the 'other' maps, helping another platoon to break through...MAG is/was special, no other FPS ever gave that feeling of being part of something much bigger.

Too bad the game got killed by most media as can't work won't work doesn't work. Well it did, and still does.

Edit: Starhawk should be mentioned as well, some of the most spectacular battlefields ever with it's vehicles and mechs. Online is pure fun.

This is not a good list let alone accurate. Halo and cod should be #1 and #2. Uncharted being on the list is a joke and should be replaced with Gears of war and assassins creed should be replaced with possibly killzone 2

No gears? no left 4 dead? no borderlands? c'mon. And not a single mention of any free to play multiplayer games on PC.

I might be showing my age but we need more split screen multiplayer. Nothing beats the feeling of flipping the bird to your friend sitting next to you after you've blown his head off.
