Machinima: "Some of my fondest memories are rooted in games that are unforgiving and brutal. With unrelenting mechanics and a laissez-faire attitude toward player interaction, The War Z could set the stage for war stories that you recall fondly years after."
I have been reading a lot of stuff saying that this is just a cash-grab, pay-to-win game that is full of bugs and and poorly constructed.
This isn't my opinion, I haven't played it. It's just what i read. It has been on my radar for a couple months...but i won't be spending a penny til we see some real vids/reviews.
From the gameplay that has come out so far, it will be hands off for me lol...
hope it gets better
Given that this is in ALPHA stage of dev, I find it rather incomprehensible that people are whining about the instability of the game. But that's what happens when stupid bitching kids dont know what they are buying into. But that's what gamer kids do...bitch.
If and when Hammerpoint actually get to the a point of a offering a 'playable' game, DayZ will be on the market and it will be without question, a better game overall right from the start. A far superior engine and a solid base from which to build upon, not to mention some real dedicated talent backing it up will ensure it will mop the floor with WarZ. My money is waiting on DayZ. Can't wait for November/December!
