Machinima: "Some of my fondest memories are rooted in games that are unforgiving and brutal. With unrelenting mechanics and a laissez-faire attitude toward player interaction, The War Z could set the stage for war stories that you recall fondly years after."
This isn't my opinion, I haven't played it. It's just what i read. It has been on my radar for a couple months...but i won't be spending a penny til we see some real vids/reviews.

And the most embarrasing of all:

Add the other stuff they did like stealing stuff from other games (Crysis weapon modification UI for instance) and flat out reusing crap ton of assets from War Inc, you can see why people call it a cash grab and why they're right. You can also find a more detailed version of the second pic that shows a lot more of the stuff taken directly from War Inc. The game is a cash grab and nothing more. Anyone who denies the opposite is most likely in denial after paying 20-50 dollars for purchasing the game.
If and when Hammerpoint actually get to the a point of a offering a 'playable' game, DayZ will be on the market and it will be without question, a better game overall right from the start. A far superior engine and a solid base from which to build upon, not to mention some real dedicated talent backing it up will ensure it will mop the floor with WarZ. My money is waiting on DayZ. Can't wait for November/December!
