Walmart.com Selling Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3 & Black Ops 2 DLC Dirt Cheap

File this under N for "No idea why", but Walmart has begun accepting preorders for just the bonuses you receive when you preorder games like Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops 2 and more for a mere thirty five cents. Included with your preorder of a preorder is a preorder bonus as well. Yeah, it gets confusing.

for a second lol thought it was the game being sold somehow for $0.35 lol i remember some time back think steam or origin had an issue where nearly the entire store had games free or for ridiculously cheap.

I think it just gives you movie credits.. there isn't any details with what it contains.

On the order page it says you're buying the DLC and the $5 credit. Also when you redeem the credit it says you'll receive your DLC after the game releases.

The details are in that green semi-circle bottom right.. for example for AC III, you get $4.99 vudu movie credit and exclusive mission 'A Dangerous Secret'

whoever disagreed obviously didn't do this. I did the AC3 and BLOPS 2 ones and just received the code to get 2 Vudu movies for free. So I paid .75 cents for $10 worth of Vudu rentals. Nice.

Before you do this, remember that Walmart.com has the absolute WORST customer service you will ever deal with. So if you do this and they over charge you, or you want your 35 cents back, good luck.

I've spent nearly 3 months now trying to get my money back for them charging me twice for one game. I pre-ordered it and had it sent to the store, the store never got the order, charged me again to get the game, and walmart.com never sent the order anywhere but still charged my card when the game released.....Their number is a pain to find, and when you call its a bunch of foreign people....

And somehow they are planning to compete with Amazon? Yeah right. Amazon is king of customer service.

well wouldnt say king of customer service lol, they dont even have a phone number to see its all email, to call them i had to google search their number but yes, good customer service but obviously they prefer you to email and not call.

On their site they have a "call me" button, you put in a time and they will call you when they are available. They also have chat options that are extremely helpful

Besides that, if you do email them, at least they reply. Ive sent Walmart.com 5 emails, only two were replied to and they were auto generated garbage....Even the store it was supposed to be sent to couldn't get any customer service from the site, it was ridiculous.

While Walmart's service sucks, paying with Paypal will help give you some kind of protection, not to mention a secondary place to dispute payment should things get messed up.

Yeah. First they email you the code for the vudo rental thing then when the preorder dlc is available they'll email you the code.

Heads up guys...

AC3 and Black Ops both have DLC that will come in the retail game package. There is a thread at CAG about it...You may not end up getting what you paid for. Although you still get the VUDU credits (which for $0.35 is a steal).

It is a whole big thing. But for now, it seems that the only one that you will actually get the code for is the Halo skin. That one is at least confirmed to come via e-mail after Halo releases.

I suggest looking further into this before you buy any AC3 or BO2 dlc stuff.

You're buying a pre-order bonus for .35 cents. It's confusing, but - depending on the game - you'll get pre-order DLC alongside $5.00 in VUDU credits.

Deadly Secret or something, which is included in Wal-Marts preorder of the game. This is good for when pre-ordering from elsewhere and you want dlc for 35 cents. I'm getting only Mayan dlc from Gamestop so this is great.

I dont think it works. For assassins creed, I am really not sure what this is. I purchased the blops 2, AC3 and halo 4 one. The halo 4 email says it is with the skin, and it will be emailed to me. The other emails say it will be packaged with the game. I do not think we are going to get the AC3 ones...i emailed them about it though. This is false advertising

I ordered 4 of them lastnight. Got the email this morning telling me to goto Zrewards to redeem my bonuses. Did that, then got more emails with the VUDU codes in them. Everything worked! I got about $20 in VUDU credit right now that I paid only $1.48 for after tax.

All I know is even if I get nothing paying no more then $3 on a gamble that might get us at the very most a .32 game, and at the very least a $5 rental for .32 or hell eve if we dont get anything and loose $3, that's a gamble I'm I'll take any day! Also, if you look at the image on the BLOPs Card (scroll over the image in the Walmart ad) at the very bottom of the card in very small white letters its says:

"Present this card to pick up your game. *Game release date subject to change"

And why would they be selling Nuketown DLC when it comes free with every pre-order?? It's not like I'm gonna buy BLOPs2 and get the free Nuketown and then buy the free Nuketown DLC for .32

Also I just looked up the game itself at walmart.com, which cost $59.96 the Listing for the game:
