FIFA 13 has contributed to around 12% of break-ups in the past month, according to a new UK survey.
1,124 newly-single people were polled about why their relationship of one year or less ended.
More than one in ten revealed that the latest in EA's football game franchise was a contributing factor.
Of those 12%, 43% said that one person in the relationship was guilty of spending more time with FIFA 13 than their partner, and 87% identified the person playing the game as male.
Elsewhere, the most popular reason for a break-up in the past month was infidelity at 36%.
