Nintendo Life: In an interview with the Seattle Times, Nintendo of America President Reggie-Fils Aime left open the possibility of selling Wii U consoles through cable providers.
Intellivision Play Cable. Sega Channel. Satellaview. And now this...
The day I see the only way to get a console is through a contract is the day I stick to PC gaming entirely. I've already reaped the benefits and I'm young into it.
HA, good luck that crap, because i would never buy a console from a cable provider.
especially from COMCAST cable high enough already here in seattle.
lol....they would sell it with a dam contract!!! "4uck that!!!"
Yea good luck. My cable bill is already $170 something smackers.
it might end up a service like cable.. U prolly jus plug the controller into the cable box & viola, premium gaming... Not for me tho.. I want separate hardware
That would be amazing though for a console maker to have a deal with a cable or satellite company to use their console as a replacement for a cable box.
I'm not sure how it is in the US but in Canada for years I have seen cable and internet companies like Telus hand out Xbox 360's like candy for anyone who signs up on a 3 year contract.
