IGN: "Want to run through the 8-bit streets poppin' caps? Retro City Rampage has your number, but substance is lacking."
Couldn't disagree more.
I think this is the lowest score I've seen for this so far. Doesn't matter, the demo made sure I would never buy this.
IGN is getting so grumpy nowadays. They don't seem to like many games anymore.
They gave The Unfinished Swan a score of 9 today, and it doesn't even constitute as a 'game'.
(joking by the way, I can't wait to play it)
Gameovergreggy is just mad that jim sterling, jon holmes and the rest of the dtoid staff's in the game and he's not....lol, jk.. with all due respect, though.... the game's difficulty does spike to nearly impossible levels.. especially the dynamite the cars level, and the checkpoints are wishy-washy..
they gave what to Double Dragon Neon again? ..yeah..., who care's about IGN scores.
I just don't get Greg Miller's scores sometimes. How in the hell does RCR deserve such a low score? I didn't even grow up in the 80's, I'm just a big GTA fan and I'm hooked on this game right now.
Well, if you would read review, he states many reasons why he thinks the game deserves such a score.
It is very fun to play. Not sure what you are talking about.
such a bad review.. i still bought it tho... Im not going to listen to one bad review when theres 10 more saying its good..
Can't handle the difficulty? Then you're not qualified to write this review. Welcome to 80's/ early 90's gaming.
I really like this game so far, Id give it a 8 or 9 from what Ive played. It has alot of content and I actually find some of the challenges in this game fun. I also like all the references to 80s stuff and especially NES games. Using the second stick on the vita to shoot makes this game really fun.
