Medal of Honor: Warfighter will enter the first person shooter market on October 23rd, and thanks to Walmart.com who has posted the back of the official box art, we now know a few new pieces of information about the game.
2 gb lol bring it.
Still sucks, but not as bad as others I've seen. I hate installs not because of the space it eats up, but because of the time it wastes.
but this is nothing to installs like for example :rage.
I'd fully install every PS3 game if I could!
Same here, its so slow. When you get that brand new game (especially if you get it at midnight) you just want to play....not wait for the install, then normally day one patch, then insert stupid online code, then if you got day one dlc you might want to install that too.....its annoying. What happened to getting a game, and playing? I love the install option, but it'd be cool to be optional so I could do it while I take a shower or something the next day.
@soldierone Go make a sandwich? Installs have never bothered me at all.
This is the one about the hunt for Bin Laden, right? I'm kind pretty in the campaign for that reason.
I am soooooooooooooo fed up with this gen of consoles. Again 720p meh!!!!
...were you expecting more even though it's realistically impossible??
@1nsomniac It's not impossible, it's just developers would prefer better overall graphics/textures. I do however, disagree with Albie as 720 is to be expected. Developers could have 1080p, but it would look pretty average. I fear that next gen of consoles will be the same. Will they sacrifice some horsepower so they can have 1080p? Or will they go all out horsepower?....again.
720p is usually the highest console game resolution go at....
@ Albie360 - look at uncharted 3 for example , its 720p and it looks better than most 1080p games, your opinion is invalid
I think that corporate doesn't see the reason to put things in 1080 because they get reports back saying that it's not worth it. How wrong they are.
I think that the reason they don't put it in 1080p is because the 360 / PS3 would blow up. Either that or you'd be playing at like 5 frames per second. Take your pick I guess..
The 360 and PS3 video cards cannot handle native 1080p support. Stick to PC gaming if that's what you want. The only console right now that may be able to do native 1080p is the Wii U, but we will have to wait to see if any games do.
The PS3 can do 1080p. A perfect example will be Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2.
excuse me? The PS3 can do upscaled 1080p yes, they cannot however do NATIVE 1080p, which is what I said in my statement.
The PS3 and the X360 can run native 1080p. One game that do this is Rayman Origins.
Sorry yes, some 2D sidescrollers can run in 1080p. However Trine 2, a similar in nature game does not run in native 1080p on the Xbox 360 or PS3. It does however run in native 1080p on the Wii U, and at 60 frames per second.
Regardless of Rayman Origins, Final Fantasy will NOT be native 1080p, that much is a given. Unless it suddenly gets put onto the PS4 instead.
The only native 1080p ps3 games I can think of are Mgs4 and Wipeout HD
Example:Battlefield 3 xbox 360-1080p ps3 720p Just check the back cover.
It's not native 1080 it's just upscaled
I would pre-order this game but i'm worried it may have the same input-lag on PS3 that Battlefield 3 had because it uses the Frostbyte 2 engine also. Until I rent and play it and confirm it doesn't, I won't buy it.
I think they toned the graphics down on consoles. So there will be no imput lag I guess.
of course they did.. Have u seen the PC version??
@DivineAssault Yes I did, if I buy it, I'm buying it on PC. But that's not what I meant to say, I said it looked worse than BF3 on console.
Honestly I can live with it if they toned down the graphics to get the performance because to me Battlefield 3 on PS3 is an un-playable mess.
