Black Ops 2 Wii U Interview with Yale Miller

GotGame: We chatted with Yale Miller, Producer at Activision, and we asked him all about the Wii U version of Black Ops 2. We asked him if there’s any difference between the Wii U and Xbox, PS3 and PC versions. He also tells us how the Wii U Gamepad comes into play. (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Wii U)

Like I said...we played Black Ops 2 on the Wii U last week. No direct feed or off-screen gameplay recording was allowed though.

i wish they (acti reps) would stop saying "full hd"

that means 1080p

and if its just garbage upscaled 1080p, thats not full hd

is it native 1080p, if not, don't say it

ask the right questions, does the wii u version of blops 2 look even half as good as the pc version?

-no

does it at least look twice as good as the horribly sub-hd 1024x600 ps3/360 versions?

-yes

does it support anti aliasing that works unlike the jaggie infested ps3/360 version?

--yes

who cares about a mini map on a touch screen, we want to know if it sh!ts on the ps3/360 like a console coming out 8 FREAKING YEARS after the last gen ps3/360 craps all over them visually and performance wise!

So upscaled to 1080p, nice faking going on there...

I still remember my COD experience on the Wii, pure horror. Game got me nightmares and it was not because of the great realistic gameplay and blood everywhere. Sad game was sad on Wii.

COD turned sad after COD4 anyways, but that is a different story. Anyways, never a shooter on a Wii or WiiUpgrade anymore for several reasons. A first: the controller. Wiimote is inaccurate, WiiU bulky tablet controller is not as nice to use as a 360 or PS3 controller, which is a lot more comfortable and ergonomic than such a big brick. Its dumb to think that the 2nd screen is great in a FPS, looking away from the screen in a fast paced FPS for some other tasks on the 2nd screen? Lol

WiiU - Rated U for Upgrade

I can't believe this guy just said "full HD" again. Is this a new definition of the word "full" where it means "not full"?

Did he say the story's playable in split-screen?
