Retro City Rampage Review | GAMINGtruth.com

GAMINGtruth's own Indie Games Editor Derek Strickland delivers the verdict on VBlank Entertainment's parody-infused arcade Indie classic Retro City Rampage.

Whether you love wreaking havoc on an open, bit-style world with a variety of powerful weapons or crashing into everything in sight, RCR has something for everyone. With a huge city to explore, non-stop explosive action, and plenty of hilarious "lol" moments, RCR is a perfect fit for any fan of retro and classic video games.

Retro City Rampage is now available for PC and PlayStation 3 & PS Vita for $14.99. XBLA & WiiWare versions coming soon. (PC, PS Vita, PS3, Retro City Rampage) 8.75/10

This game is a definite must-have for all fans of everything retro. You will laugh, you will yell, but most importantly, you'll have tons of fun.

It's funny how this was originally a WiiWare title and now it seems like it will come out last for it.

Yeah it is a bit ironic! I wonder if it will be transferable to the DS or something. That would be sweet :D

I love this game, so far.... some of the levels are really tough though..... especially one where you have to throw dynamite at 20 cars without dying.... that part was a BITCH.. had to use the 'GAWD' mode to get past it..

Any level where you can die, especially the explosives, and any level where you have to use melee weapons is hard. For example using the tank is cake since it is tough and can't be so easily destroyed but using the rocket launcher on foot is hell. Using dynamite and bombs are even worse

I'm about 30% through the game, playing it on the Vita mostly. Great game.
