Taking Forza Horizon for a spin | CNET Reviews

CNET Reviews: "After a week behind a variety of virtual steering wheels, I'm firmly convinced that Forza Horizon is most definitely a more casual game than Motorsport. I'm also convinced it's perfectly fine for it to be that way. Sure, there's something to be admired about getting around a course a quickly as possible, but if you can't enjoy outrunning an airplane or catching some sweet hangtime in a video game, then you're probably going about this whole 'playing' thing all wrong." Looks like fun
Would be awesome if Polyphony did something like this using the GT5 engine. That would rock!

Don't hold your breath waiting on Polyphony doing something like this. They will stick to the same old boring ways that GT is. Forza is branching out for the better and evolving. Forza Horizon is a great demo and I actually can't wait to get the full game.

@Ovoxo - I agree but you could have worded you comment a little less trollish.

GT is a great SIM race car franchise but Poly takes so long to make a game that the other games have implemented what Poly has or surpass it in there games.

Poly needs a quicker turn around time and more than one studio.

I like where MS is going with Forza...my next hope is that they make an open world Forza where you can drive from state to state and the world is living sorta like GTA4 with your avatar able to come out the car and interact with people and building.

Can you imagine being able to start a raceing crew buy property and build your garage/club house or driving to other car clubs turf and challenging them for there pink slips, garage or money.

Hell would be even awesome if you steal other peoples car but if you get caught your player licence gets revoked for like 2 weeks : )

I really like the fact that all the reviews are saying this is the first open road racer that doesn't sacrifice frame rate or landscape. Its not like Playground Games are rookies when it comes to racing games either, I mean Blur and Project Gotham Racing were both great games.

Cant wait to pick up mine.
