Parable: Fighting game scene in the 'Deen

"We began in a simple flat. 6 guys crammed into a living room with two set-ups. We were loud, excitable and purely in awe that we’d found other players that enjoy fighting games. Soon, we out grew this small stage and expanded to a local pub. Instead of being holed up in a corner, we took over an entire area of the space and set up around 6 Xbox 360 consoles, allowing nearly everyone to be playing all the time. Best of all, people came. Many people. People better than me, to my annoyance, but that soon made way for excitement as we started feeling out the match-ups, exploring new strategies and had a few drinks with our new bunch of friends." - Gregor Garden, Parable.
