Review: The Walking Dead Episode Four: Around Every Corner (Multi) - TGV

The Gaming Vault writes:

"Its difficult to review consecutive episodes in a gaming series like this where the hands of change never embrace anything else other than the progression of the narrative.

Indeed, as problematic as it might be that we’re effectively grading these episodes more as stories rather than games, it seems a tad churlish to be too distraught at that thought given that the emotional yarns crafted therein are done so with the sort of competence you would expect from such ably, practiced hands as those belonging to developer Telltale Games." (The Walking Dead: Episode 4 "Around Every Corner", Xbox 360) 7/10

Interesting score. Personally, this is contender for GOTY for me.

It will all depend on how the last episode plays out.

I completely agree.

Regardless of whatever I think about the gameplay systems contained therein, the stories that I've been created and moulded over these last few months in this game have been a phenomenal experience nonetheless.

I'm very much stoked to see how the final episode functions from a storytelling perspective too; whether it'll neatly wrap up the season in isolation or, will somehow lead into the second season that they've (TT) said they're planning for.
