Culdcept Saga Xbox 360 Review - LoadingReality.com

Just over a decade ago, developer OmiyaSoft unleashed Culdcept on Sega Saturn. Culdcept was a combination collectible card game (CCG) and board game thinly wrapped in a Japanese RPG-style story, complete with mute protagonist, inconsolable revenge character and frequent evil laughing at the sky. Due to the popularity of the game, it saw an expansion as well as a 2003 re-release on PS2. Thanks to this second release, Culdcept made it to the states, though in a limited print. The game is now fairly rare, so don't bother asking your neighborhood game store if they can find a copy. Seeking to resurrect the franchise for it's tenth anniversary, OmiyaSoft went back to the original mechanics and cards to re-balance and update for 2008. (Culdcept Saga, Xbox 360) 7/10
