Earlier today THQ announced that the WWE ’13 “Austin 3:16” Collector’s Edition has sold out in GAME stores across the UK.
That's good for THQ, they need some back to back successful games to get out of that financial hole they're in. I am kinda surprised though... I didn't know wrestling was so popular in the UK.
Yeah, William Regal teaches some of the guys who want to wrestle from over there.
Wrestling is a lot more popular than people want to admit. WWE sells out events all over the world. It's website and Facebook pages get more hits than most legit sports organizations. Millions watch it on TV every week and the video games are always top sellers. And who didn't grow up knowing who Hulk Hogan was? But people act as though they're ashamed of being a fan and still hide in the closet about it. Kinda dumb if you ask me. If you like something, be proud and show the love.
I'm not ashamed... I'M THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
I am still a fan of it. Not ashamed, but WWE itself has gone very far downhill since it lost its competition. Games might be getting better at last or they are just painting the favorite coat of paint we all love labeled Attitude on a bad egg. Either way that paint is enough to pull me into buying just one more game. TNA on the other hand is aiming to rise up. Sadly its at a crawling pace, but you never know what might happen. They do actually try different things from time to time.
