XCOM: Enemy Unknown Review | The Game Scouts

Jeff Ellis: My squad approaches a deserted diner. Major James “Wolverine” Howlett holds up a hand, “Do you hear that?” Something is moving in the thick black of the fog of war. I have no idea what is waiting for me ahead. Is it a few sectoids? Easy pickings for my high-ranking soldiers. Chances are it’s a group of hulking mutons accompanied by a disc cannon, laying an ambush. Better to air on the side of caution. In fact, caution is your best defense in XCOM: Enemy Unknown. (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, XCOM: Enemy Unknown) 8.0/10
